Claude Enterprise pricing: what it costs for Claude Code

Claude Enterprise costs $20 a seat a month, billed yearly, plus every token at API rates. The seat includes Claude Code but no usage, so your bill grows with how much your team codes. The minimum is 20 seats. For most teams that use Claude Code daily, Team Premium seats cost less; Enterprise is for companies that need its admin, security and compliance controls.

How the Enterprise bill works
Each seat gives a person access to Claude on web, desktop and mobile, plus Claude Code. It comes with no usage allowance. Every token your team uses is billed separately at standard API rates, and there are no per-seat usage limits. If you turn on US-only processing, usage costs 1.1x API rates.

You can add seats during the year; they are charged right away for the rest of the term. You cannot remove seats until renewal.
Enterprise vs Team for a Claude Code team
Team seats include usage. Enterprise seats do not, so the gap depends on how much your developers use. Here are three 20-person teams, priced on the Team seat our calculator picks (with a 1-year commitment) and on Enterprise with usage at API rates:

Anthropic's own figure for Claude Code on Enterprise is about $150 to $250 per developer a month in usage, before the seat. A Team Premium seat is $100 to $125. Team stops at 150 seats. If your developers run agents all day, Team seats fill up and they wait for limits to reset, or buy extra usage. Enterprise has no per-seat limits: work stops only at the spend limits you set, and every token is billed.
What Enterprise adds over Team
Both plans include Claude Code, SSO, central billing and usage analytics. Enterprise adds:
- Spend limits for the organization, groups and each person, with alerts
- Role-based access with fine-grained permissions
- SCIM user provisioning and domain capture
- Audit logs and the Compliance API
- Custom data retention controls
- IP allowlisting and network-level access control
- A HIPAA-ready setup, with a BAA from Anthropic

- Admins set spend limits for the organization, for groups and for each person. Admins get alerts at 75% and 90% of the organization limit.
