Claude Pro: price, limits and what you get

Claude Pro costs $20 a month, or $17 a month if you pay $200 for a year up front. It includes Claude Code and gives at least five times the Free plan's usage per five-hour session. It is the cheapest plan for regular Claude Code use.

How many tokens do you get with Pro?
Anthropic does not publish a token or message count. How far Pro goes depends on how long your conversations are, which model you use and which features you use.
Our estimate, calibrated on real Claude Code use, is that Pro covers about $125 a month of usage at API rates. That is roughly a few days a week of focused work on Sonnet, or lighter work on Opus.
